Don't be afraid of synthetic materials
The most important role is played by choosing the right fabric for making a tablecloth. Pay attention to its quality, we usually recommend customers to choose a fabric with a higher weight. This should be at least 160 g / m 2 so that the fabric blends in nicely and does not slip. It is better to avoid thin materials weighing 120 g / m 2 and less, although they may have an attractive print, the life of a tablecloth made of such a fabric would not be long.
For easier maintenance, especially ironing, choose a decorative fabric with a mixture of polyester . In the case of tablecloths, there is no reason to avoid synthetic materials, on the contrary, we can make full use of their practical properties: they dry quickly, do not crease and work well with them. We recommend, for example, ELBA decorative fabrics - they have a special surface treatment called "Teflon", thanks to which the fabric does not absorb liquids. Just wipe up spilled drink or water after the rain and the tablecloth is clean and dry again. If you would like a 100% natural material, in addition to cotton, also look at linen fabrics.
Tapestry fabrics are the absolute number one
If you want a tablecloth in above-standard quality that does not fade, reach for the tapestry fabric. Tapestry fabrics have woven patterns, so unlike printing, the tablecloth will not fade over time. You will sew a luxurious and almost immortal tablecloth from tapestry fabric, which will decorate your table for many years. These fabrics boast a weight of over 300 g / m 2 and the tablecloths can withstand them even in very busy operations , such as restaurants and canteens.
