To make your curtain look like a catalog on the window, it is not enough to select the right fabric. You must have met and watched the various drapes or curtains curl and tighten their edges. Of course, having a nicely sewn curtain requires skill and practical experience in sewing home furnishings. But, as they say, no one ridden from the ground has fallen and everyone has to start somehow. We assume you let it go. The fabric is cut straight and we are going to sew.

The first thing we must not forget are high quality polyester threads. If we want or we do not want to drape the curtain or curtain, then we will use a suitable draping tape on the upper hem, which will mainly guarantee the draping of the upper hem. If you do not use it and usually just wrap the top edge of the curtain and curtain will slackly sag between the grips and certainly do not want. That's why we never sew without a shirring ribbon. The result will be unique.

The second, very important thing is the lead into the hem, possibly even a lead cord to the bottom edge of the curtain. Today, however, most modern curtains already have a bottom hem lined with lead cord, so it is used a little less often. This makes it all the more important to use lead in the hinge edges. This will ensure that the hems do not twist and the lead pulls them nicely down to the ground. These are the essential things for a nice curtain and curtain, so be sure to keep the lead and draping tape.
